HIPPIE FUN FEST & AUCTION AT BMUCC OCTOBER 28th 5:30 to 7:30 P.M.

Our Event

Clearwater Creek will perform and lead singing of our favorite folk tunes from the 60s and 70s as we celebrate the hippie values of peace, love, community, spirituality and artistic expression! Come dressed up as your favorite hippie and ready for fun.  A free will offering will be taken for Clearwater Creek.  

Our Fun-Raiser

Our 2023 Time/Talent Auction will be set up inside Johnston Hall in silent auction format.  Come bid on the extraordinary items we have gathered this year.  We will start Time/Talent Silent Auction as a silent auction during HippieFest at Black Mountain United Church of Christ Saturday, October 28th. On-site silent bidding will open at 5:30 pm.

How the Online Auction Works

  • On Sunday, October 29th at 8:00 AM., top silent auction bids from Saturday night will be automatically be placed online by our team. 
  • The online auction will close at noon on Wednesday, November 1st. Everyone is invited to participate as a bidder! 
  • In order to bid on items in our 2023 Auction, you must sign up as a bidder on our online platform - even if you start your bidding on-site at HippieFest! 
  • Silent Auction bidder registration must be completed up no later than 6 PM on October 28th. 
  • You may also register to bid whenever you enter the Online Auction Site after 8 AM on Sunday, October 29 if you do not plan to bid at HippieFest. However, we recommend that you go online before Saturday to register. 
  • Go to our Online Auction site to register, to check out all the great items, and to bid and to place your bids after the Online Auction opens at 8 am on Sunday morning, October 29th.
