Mother's Day at BMUCC

Children celebrated and honored their mothers at church this Sunday in a beautiful ceremony orchestrated by Joyce and Nelson!

Yesterday was a special day as we acknowledged and celebrated the influence and love of mothers and mother figures in our lives. We recognized that Mother’s Day can evoke a range of emotions, from gratitude and joy to loss and pain.

We honored not only the mothers who are with us but also those who have passed on, and we extended our support to those who long to be mothers or have faced challenges in their journey of motherhood.

As we worshipped together, we embraced the diversity of our stories and experiences, and were united in love, compassion, and understanding. Happy Mother’s Day to all, and may we all continue to both celebrate as well as find strength and support in this loving congregation!

SERMON: Lean on Me

Grace is ... poured out freely, available to all of us, and it is completely unwarranted, unearned, and separate from merit. Do we have to be perfect ... ?

SERMON: Valentines and Broken Hearts

We can deal with our strong feelings or we can run. We need other people to deal with feelings. These moments require us to get over ourselves long enough to acknowledge and honor those around us as a first step.
